This invitation reminds me of a smooth elegant tie….. it is a sleek yet with a modern twist on a traditional invitation. The hint of black cardstock adds to the formality, while the smooth black, silver & ivory layers give a luxe bridal feel. The pocketfold is in a plumes black & silver cardstock, with a darker platinum border on the interior. All cards were printed on high quality cardstock, and the invitation was closed with a monogram seal.
I have to say I really enjoyed working with Sierra on this invitation! She was a bride who really cared about her invitations and we worked and modified until we got it exactly perfect! I truly wish her and her husband-to-be the best of luck with their upcoming wedding!
In fact, I just received an email from Sierra a couple days ago, that made my day! :
” Hi Laura,I just wanted to let you know how great of a response we have received
from everyone receiving our invitations. You did a fabulous job! Just wanted
to make sure you heard how beautiful everyone said they were! I keep hearing
“I have never seen invitations so beautiful!” Thank you so much again for
all of your hard work! They were just perfect!”

Well! Here it is! The most extravagant invitation I have yet to create! Wow, I was so thrilled to have the opportunity to create such a gorgeous invitation for none-the-less, a gorgeous bride & groom! The invitation concept of a destination beach wedding was presented before me, and the bride an I worked together to discuss style, textures, paper options and of course the WOW factor!
This invitation starts out in an impressive gold box, wrapped elegantly with a dual soft satin ivory and a flirty sparkle tulle. Once open, the square pocketfold rests onto a natural wood shred. The invite itself is just begging to be opened! With a beautiful natural finger starfish, tied securely with a satin/organza mix ribbon and vellum bandwrap, accented with a regal satin beaded trim, I am not sure if I like the inside or the outside best! The inside is a mix of a 3-d waffle like textured shimmer paper from Nepal, and a heavyweight exclusive soft white cardstock. Each corner of the invitation is wrapped in ivory satin, and bordered with an antique gold cardstock.
This invitation was such a pleasure to design, and it has been the most labor intensive design yet! Thanks to all my girlfriends, bride, and bridesmaids who came to my rescue! My only sad face through this whole process was that I couldn’t attend this wedding, that I was invited to with such open heartedness!
Congratulations Sherri & Matt!

This has to be one of my favorite Wedding Programs I have created! The couple wanted to share with their guests a feel of travel and destination for their upcoming wedding in Tucson, Arizona.
I paired together a textured dark blue cardstock with a light pale green booklet. Gold staples were used to bind the passport and pages together. Complete with their photo and some inventive wording… it truly did resemble that of a passport.
The front had a seal in gold and “PASSPORT” written across the top with a gold metallic pen. Yes, I have good handwriting too!

Love is in the air— especially in Spring! This beautiful invitation is using Envelopments white shimmer pocketfolds, along with layers of mango and pollen yellow cardstock. Butterflies were used throughout the stationary, including thank you cards, escort cards, table number and menus.
A small crystal adorned the sweet butterfly on the front seal.
I am so excited to see some pictures of this elegant affair, held at the Wrigley Mansion. I think it will be spectacular.
Also, this invitation is featured on Emmaline Bride!

This invitation is modern, classy and warm.. I just adore the chocolate brown and the mango orange paired together with the crisp clean soft white cardstock and simple fonts. The mehndi pattern and satin bow on the seal add to the exotic flair of this beautiful wedding invitation!
Something about the combination of all lower case wording and uppercase wording gives that elegant but unique feel to this invite.
It truly makes me want to stare at a golden sunset in Dubai, but I guess Jasper, Georgia is where the wedding really happened!

One of my favorite wedding destinations, has always been at the Hotel De
Coronado in San Diego California.
I just remember this as our ‘spot’ for all vacations, as it was just a
little bit more of a true relaxation spot for us…. less populated,
cleaner sands, and seemed to be farther away than the typical beaches.
The Hotel certainly has quite the draw: preppy locals mixed with the
tourist; barefooted children with melted icecream cones, and old folks
drinking scotch on the cobblestone entry to the bar.
It was my pleasure to create this unique invitation… I had so
much fun with it. Although it was several years ago, it was my first
boxed invitation and wanted to share it with you all! The shells that
were used on this invitation were hand selected in Coronado by the
couple for use, and holding the inserts inside the box were pebbles
glued down with shimmery gold hot glue. The invitation itself rested on top of the pebbles in each corner, then when lifted, revealed the inserts nestled in the center. Natural twine ribbon as well as fine shimmery papers and textures complete this unique beach themed wedding invitation.

I created this gorgeous baby shower invitation for my fabulous cousin Lisa! She and her wonderful husband are expecting their first child….with the notion of it could be a girl or boy! During this time, we created something that could fit either, and I had a blast putting these together for her.
Well guess what?!? Her little bundle of joy was born over the weekend, and SHE is just absolutely beautiful. Gabriella Rose… and what a miracle she is. She is a knockout already!
The invitation features a peacock blue portable pocket, from envelopments.com as well as the bright ‘envy’ green cardstock. The patterned green paper and 3-D animal stickers as well as the leaf-ribbon helped complete this unique combination of textures and patterns.
With this inventive invitation I have already created another similar invite with different colors and motif!

I don’t know why, but this bridal shower invitation just makes me want to relax and open presents!
~
It is a fabulous product in cotton candy pink from www.lcipaper.com, paired together with a textured pearl metallic cardstock. The main card is printed on heavy white cardstock with pink accents. The front seal has “Bride” with a simple paper posy flower.
Just the perfect bridal shower invitation for your perfect bride!

Often times than not, I get an email from a Bride, who trusts me so much, that they let me have free range on creating something personal and expressive of themselves.
They give me information, their style, and certain aspects of their vision that are important to them. I LOVE when I hit it- right on the target!
This invitation makes me feel like I am walking up to a fresh flower boutique, and bundling up my fresh daises with just a beautiful ribbon. The invitation is a gate fold,
accented with a guava cardstock and polka-dot orange ribbon. The monogram seal is accented with a handmade sparkle orange daisy.
So simple, but so fun and fresh.
I just adore this wedding invitation!

So seriously! Does this invitation make you want to jump into your convertible in your pink Gucci heels and hit a slot machine?
I just love the colors of this invitation… hot pink, chartreuse and chocolate brown! Their wedding invitations coordinated as well.
The invitation and detail card for accommodations are tucked away in this mini portable pocket…. and then sealed in a hot pink envelope, lined with a fabulous accent paper.
The bride and groom were such a great couple, and I have no doubt their wedding was an amazing time, not to mention flawlessly detailed.
Viva Vegas baby!!
Howdy! This is my 1st comment here so I just wanted to give a quick shout out and tell you I genuinely enjoy reading your posts. Can you recommend any other blogs/websites/forums that cover the same subjects? Thanks!
