You dream it, I create it.My passion for art is expressed with each set of hand assembled invitations using the finest papers, ribbons & exquisite materials.I have always been an artistic person & found that my outlet to express creativitiy is by designing invites for people. I love being inventive and have always had an eye for beauty, art, and style.
So I had the pleasure of creating a romantic, luxurious, just-the-right-amount of bling invitation for a dear close friend of mine! A bit of background on my friend: we have been friends since high school… those were the days… the 90′s- big hair, hot red nailpolish, and of course groupies. Our group – the ham heads! Don’t even ask. But since then, we have always stayed in touch. Years pass, and whenever we have a chance to press the pause button to meet up even for a cocktail, it seems like time hasn’t even moved since those days in school…. that is when you know you have a true friend.
So Janelle asked me to create her wedding invitation, and I was thrilled! We worked very hard to get the perfect combination of colors and textures for her, to set the tone of her gorgeous lush garden romance feel. The wedding was set at the Boojum Tree, which is one of the most unique places to have a wedding. The invitation is a smooth sand colored metallic pocketfold, and upon opening, reveals a soft pink shimmery floral textured cardstock. The inner card is matted with a darker sand, and the raised printing sits perfectly onto the premium ivory cardstock. The front of the invitation is adorned with coordinating patterns and a black satin ribbon that ties around the entire invitation. Now no item (per Janelle) is complete without crystals… so we added some soft pink crystals to the front and inside of the invitation. The pocket of the invitation was lined with the pink floral cardstock, and fit the two inserts snugly for their guests. Of course the fun doesn’t stop there! The invitation is placed into a matching envelope, lined with the pink floral paper, and then placed into an outer envelope, by which Janelle outsourced calligraphy for her addresses. Talk about a fabulous presentation for her gorgeous wedding!
I also created matching elements such as the bird cage sign, escort card signage, menus, and programs for her event.
Might I add, that I of course attended…. I attached some of my personally favorite photos…and we had an amazing time (even being over 5 months pregnant)! It was stepping into a romance novel. The flowers, the photobooth, the chandeliers, the CANDY TABLE (hello!). We had a great time, and best of all, I got to see my beautiful friend walk down the aisle with her gorgeous soul mate.
Love you hammie, I know you will have the happiest “ever after” !
I also have the privelege of being part of this wedding as it has been featured on Style Me Pretty! Click here for more fabulous photos and inspiration for this gorgeous wedding!
Looking for a stylish and modern wedding invitation for your upcoming big day? My Spanish bride did! She was very much so into the feel of papers and how textures can create another layer of sophistication with her wedding stationary. She decided on a metallic platinum silver pocketfold invitation, which opens up horizontally and inserts are inserted vertically. The invitation is accented on the front with a beautiful textured turquoise band wrap slide with a triple layer monogram seal. Upon opening, the main card is revealed with a double matte border, and the inserts coordinate with the differently textured white cardstocks, and includes a matching RSVP envelope. Different textures was used for the main invite as well as inserts to create a visual dimension. This handmade invitation is sure to impress your guests and give a feeling of glamour and sophistication! .
These sand dollar placecards are a sure way to impress at
your destination or beach wedding. The couple wanted coordinating stationary to
compliment their reception and wedding invitation, so I carried their sand
dollar theme throughout.
This placecard is a matte white tent fold, printed on
crisp linen cardstock and a shimmery sand circular pattern. The real mini sand
dollar is adhered with a pop glue to allow it to stand out even more. You can purchase them directly on Etsy!
Just gorgeous and loved assembling these. Anytime I get to
work with natural items from our Earth, I am happy!
This simple and sassy invitation was created to match the bride’s wedding colors- Pink. After creating the couple’s wedding invitation, I was approached by the sister-in-law for some bridal shower invitations (which by the way, was an old friend from grade school!). The bride was fabulous and had quite the glam style…. which is reflected in this card.
The invitation is set on beautiful shimmery pink cardstock, with printed linen cardstock in pink and orange accents. The invitation showcases a beautiful handmade paper daisy, with a double ribbon accent in satin bubblegum pink and orange organza. Coordinating envelopes were included.
Customization of this invitation in any color is always available, so just inquire!
So I created this beautiful baby shower invitation…. for myself! The birth of my second son was fast approaching, and I was insisting to do something different and unique for his nursery. I found this beautiful vintage “retro rocket” fabric see here, and my mom sewed some gorgeous details for his room with it… the window valance, the crib sheet, changing table pad & a soft chenille blankie. <3 Anyhow, my mom insisted on throwing me a very small brunch with just family and a few friends, and so I had to create something fun. I know it was my second child, but he deserved some attention too!
This invitation is unique because it pulls open, and the inner card flips up to reveal the invitation details. I chose a deep metallic green & added orange accents along with some robots, and planet inspired cardstock….it turned out just the way I had envisioned. This invitation is available in a multitude of colors and patterns, and can be turned horizontally and is offered in a square too! Just another fabulous pre-cut item from Envelopments !
So this wedding invitation just spells out cool, modern, hip, California! I can’t say enough about how much excitement I had designing this work of art & how much I enjoyed working with the couple. Did I mention, that I have known the bride since middle school! She lived about 3 blocks down from me growing up, and I can say that I have several memories of our fun days of high school…. So when she asked if I would create a unique handmade wedding invitation for her, I was thrilled! I used envelopments products to create this beautiful vacation for the eyes. This invitation is a cool belize blue pocketfold, layered with a fun floral pattern in tones of grey. The inner invitation is printed on a soft grey cardstock and bordered with metallic platinum silver cardstock. The inserts were printed to coordinate, as well as the artwork. The inner pocket was also lined in the metallic platinum as well as the RSVP postcard. The outer invitation was layered with a hint of the pattern, as well as their monogram. Each pocketfold invitation then was presented in a coordinating envelope, with an address bandwrap in silver metallic that wrapped around their invitation to help seal the envelope. Sara & Eric’s photographers, Zelo Photography, just did an exceptional job capturing their unique and amazing wedding (not to mention the above photos of their wedding invitation). I can only wish the happy couple a fantastic ‘ever after’ as they are so made for eachother! xoxoxo
On Earth! and this couple decided to have all their friends and family witness their love here. Disneyland!
I was so excited to create such a unique invitation for this couple. From the very start she knew exactly what she was looking for, and these invitations sure were something to talk about! The outer invitation was accented with their monogram and a fun flirty purple feather and the inside gave a classy elegance with the patterned cardstock & style of the petal fold.
It was my pleasure to create such fabulous invitations & I cannot wish more happiness upon Tara & Frank, and undoubtedly their exciting new path as husband & wife.
This is an modern yet luxe version of a “photo” thank you card. I love how the image printed so softly onto the vellum. The vellum is medium grain and secured with not only glue dots, but also really pretty self-sticking pearls.
The thank you card itself is a folding shimmery sand color, and on the inside the Bride & Groom can inscribe their note.
I hope you love the simple elegance to this chic presentation for a photo thank you card!
One of the things I force (as in make the time for) myself to do, is create my son’s birthday party invitations! I just can’t allow these special moments to escape me, and I seriously have so much fun putting them together. This year, we chose do do a ‘carnival’ theme, complete with popped popcorn in ‘real’ popcorn bags, snow cone machine, and carnival games such as balloon toss through a clowns nose. It added to the experience, as my son was so thrilled to help me do so much this year! needless to say, we had a great time!
This invitation is printed on a grey white, with a platinum silver, then hot orange borders. All the corners are rounded, and each invitation had a fun carnival themed accent on top. I saved the carousel horse for him, since he loves horses! The envelope was an electric blue, and instead of sealing it as I would a normal envelope, I wrapped around a printed band, containing the guests name on the front and my return on the back. I just loved making these & can’t wait to make the next ones.:D
Save the Dates can really give your guests a little sneak peak for what’s ahead! This fun save the date was a long white linen pocket, with details inside. The front was accented with 3-D handmade mini-flip flops and coordinating cardstock. Envelopes also matched the invitation in white, lined with the basket-weave paper.
Telling your a child that if they don’t brush their teeth, then all their teeth will fall out, and / or the dentist will cause them a great deal of pain doesn’t really cut it with a three year old (and is also a questionable approach)
